The funny thing is that we as Deadheads have always been classified as passive hippies. Would passive people follow and record a band and create a community the way that we have. No. I guess they underestimated how passsionate we are. We need to let them know that we will cotinue to support them if they do the right thing. The band has only one thing left-their legacy. They have a major final decision: whether to leave it with their loving fans and forsake the dollars or sell out to a megacorp that is taking over the entire music industry. WE NEED TO LET THEM HEAR US. As I said, I still love these guys and I know that they're good people who don't really even want to be making this decision, but we need to make our voices heard here. BRING THE SBD'S BACK!

Please Everyone,

We must continue the boycott until the SBDs are returned. The IA and all the hard work that went into it was every bit as much our intellectual property as theirs, and it benefited them. We've got to make them see this and the bottom line $ is the most effective way. Thanks to you all, I am so proud of our community (which they said didn't exist as they approved of in the NY Times, simply appalling!!!!!!!!!)
Peace,
H.

The drummers have posted their contact info on the new website. There is nothing creepy about contacting them. [ad hominem mod]

FYI, we often moderate away other people's contact info that patrons post on the forums here.

That's fine, you can take down the drummers' contact info. It is still on
DeadNet under their CONTACT info. They provide the info for a reason. I recommend making your voice heard if you don't agree with the poor decisionmaking of certain bandmembers.

Didn't you post a "chill out" message yourself just yesterday, sir? Wise advice!

Solid advice from Brewster here too about mending relationships:

(Hey, that can be my *new* pointer to "please see Brewster's advice to tone it down", compared to last March. ;) )

I'll take that Kung Fu Master appellation you pinned on me Brad, after all this. Take your own black belt with honor too. :)

I'm still an Eagle Scout at heart...
